In Search of a Laugh (continued)

Banners in the queue explain how you can use your cell phone (regular rates apply) to text in jokes for the very show you’re about to see

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

There’s something incongruous though about amateur-looking banners spouting very real Disney corporate legalese (you don’t get to sue them for using your joke, apparently):

The line is still for fifteen minutes, then surges all at once to a door/portal at the end, complete with key swipe device on one side...

...and laugh collector cylinder on the other:

Once through the portal, we’re in the Monster’s Inc. plant. Note the custom wallpaper and the trash compactor chute design:

A look out the M-shaped "window" shows we’re in Monstropolis proper:

Looking around, we see a candy vending machine for the monsters (yes, just like the one in the Monsters ride queue in Anaheim)...

... and themed trash cans (yay!).

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

A bulletin board for "workers" has many references to the movie. If the type is too small to read here, or you get rushed through the queue too fast to see it all, you only need to put on your Monsters DVD at home to better see the majority of what is posted here.

A diagram explains how it’s now laughs, not screams, that they want...

A display (below) honors workers of the month...

...we've followed it here with a still from the DVD's bonus material...

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

...which of course is based on a scene from the movie itself (below).
