| What do a fifty-foot bear on the
rampage, a rat in a restaurant and a sneak peak inside a monster
factory have in common? They
all appear in today's MiceChat Round-Up. But that's not all, there's also a lovely visit to Galaxyland in Canada, information about
the Disney Cruise Line and a trip to Witch Mountain too. Have fun!

What's so funny? No, really. Is it Turtle Talk? Laugh Floor?
Or maybe a rat on your cheese plate? That one never gets old!

long in the tooth? And last but not least, where to go in the
great big beautiful Walt Disney World? ~ PEZZ

Remy at Chefs De France Photos and Video, Flower and Garden
pics
Nbodyhome went to Epcot and had a sizable helping
of rat with her meal. Actually, a puppet-like figure of Remy
the rodent made a special guest appearance at lunch. Also, purty
flowers and Monorail madness!
Why
is Turtle Talk with Crush so popular, and MI Laugh Floor isn't?
MarkTwain knows a lot about navigating American
waterways and creating timeless characters with wit and humor.
But he doesn't know why Turtle Talk with Crush (TTWC) is so
much more popular than Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor (MILF). Would
you rather talk turtle or hang with the MILF?
Tired old attractions
Kidgenie found a quote in a newspaper about
some attractions in WDW that were dated and/or malfunctioning.
And we take this opportunity to discuss which attractions need
to be re-vamped and which need to be re-moved. Chime in!
I seriously don't know which WDW park to go to.... Which is
your favorite???
Silvermouse21 is vexed by the problem of choosing
which park to visit at WDW. Does the uniqueness of DAK outweigh
the international splendor of Epcot? Do the extinct attractions
(in CA) make the Magic Kingdom the must-see winner? Take a look
at what other Chatters think and weigh in!

Monsters and turtles invade Tokyo (and no, I'm not talking
about Gamera)! We a petite update from France. And the global

Galaxyland, West Edmonton Mall, Canada Photo & Video Report
Roller coasters! Submarines! Fake snow! Wait. That's real snow.
Because we are in Canada! The West Edmonton Mall has indoor
delights and Robbalvey brings in a terrific

O-nut

Olympicnut heeds some sage advice and goes
on a hiking expedition in the hills above Malibu. He has incredibly
lovely pictures of flowers, oak trees and fantastic oceanic
vistas. It's well worth the walk!
Six Flags announces that there is 'Substantial Doubt' that it
will survive
OogieBoogie has found some dire news from the
Six Flags front. In an accountant-speak filing on the SEC website,
the future financial for the Six Flags parks looks grim. Or
maybe this is just their way of forewarning a need to restructure
their debt? Share your opinions here...
Six
Flags Magic Mountain 'highly profitable'
In better news, Sir Clinksalot finds that Southern
California's own Six Flags park is doing gang buster business
and is in the black. Maybe they have some secrets they can share
with their far-flung cohorts?

Is everyone still getting used to the time change? Or still out
celebrating St. Patrick's Day? Possibly everyone is visiting their
closest Disney Park, or perhaps enjoying the fine weather and
gardening? Maybe it's just spring fever. Things are quieter than
usual in the Main Lounge, but there's always something to discuss

Dorothea
Holt Redmond dies
The Los Angeles Times reports that Redmond died at home late
last month, of congestive heart failure. She was 98. 'In 1964,
she joined what is now known as Walt Disney Imagineering and
helped envision elements of Disneyland and Disney World. Disney died in 1966
before the elaborate New Orleans Square hideaway she designed
with him could be completed. For decades, the space was used
as a gallery.' Thanks to SnorkletsMom, for
the link to the story.
Chicago's
Sears Tower gets a new name.
Chicagoan Barbaraann keeps us informed about
the latest news around her hometown, announcing the name change
of the 110 story landmark skyscraper from Sears Tower to Willis
Tower. I'm not one for change, especially after years and years
of familiarity. Candlestick Park was always Candlestick Park
to me, never Monster or 3Com. Willis Tower? Hmm. That's gonna
take some getting used to...
