Last week, Annual Passholders got a first look at new merchandise celebrating the major new attractions coming this summer to Disney California Adventure. While the merchandise was available early for Disney's Passholders, the public will have to wait to buy until the park hosts its grand re-opening June 15. Meanwhile, as the June opening date approaches, work continues on the big Buena Vista Street project as new Red Car Trolley wires go up around the Carthay Circle Theater and into Hollywood Land. Over in Cars Land, Imagineers are taking the Radiator Springs Racers race cars for test rides as finishing details are added throughout the new 12-acre land. 4/1: Six Flags Great Adventure: The History of MovieTown!
The wildly immersive Six Flags Movie Town in New Jersey has a long history. Since 1974 they have pioneered the idea of dividing the park into sections that were themed in different ways to create the illusion that guests were somewhere else. With rides like the Water Effect and Stuntman's Freefall, the storytelling hit new heights, as it were, and reached guests on a whole new level. Read about the rich history and heritage of this wonderful park.

4/1: Walt Disney World Renamed! And that’s not all that’s been renamed.
It finally happened! The one Disney initiative has come to its peak with the renaming of the entire Walt Disney World Resort. Werner Weiss fills us in on all of the details about this most recent resort-wide change. Magic Kingdom will be called Disney Park. The Boardwalk resort will be Disney Resort. 3/29: The Storybook Land Canal Boat Diaries
It was July, 1955. Disneyland was a brand new style of immersive entertainment. Everything was finely detailed to the very last. Well, almost everything. The Canal Boats of the World was in the center of Fantasyland but far from finished. It would soon be remade into the Storybook Land Canal Boats and be an enchanting world of miniature delights. Often referred to as one of Walt's favorite attractions, this ride has had a long and storied history. Read as Sam tells the tale.
