Anaheim
GardenWalk Future Imagineer has a nice overview of the soon to
open Anaheim GardenWalk. It’s not owned by Disney, but
it looks like an unofficial Downtown Disney West. Some of
the restaurants along Katella have opened in the past few
months, the main walkway should follow soon!

[Idea]
- What if Tampa/Orlando hosted the Olympics and WDW was a
part of it? WDWizard ponders the idea of the Olympics
coming to Orlando and Tampa one day, with Walt Disney World
doing it's fair share of hosting. Your thoughts?
Which
Park do you think has the best Music?
AlwaysImagineer wants the general consensus
from MiceChatters which park they think has the best music.
Share your opinion here.

With new attractions opening, it's all about looking forward
this week at the Off Shore Parks. Or looking for a good place
for some relief? That's something to look forward to, right?
Lots of cool video dead ahead - PEZZ
[News]
- Tikis with Stitch Opening date announced.
Hold on to your toucans, because TDLFAN
has the news that Stitch will officially be invading the
Tiki Room on July 25. Will he have much of an effect on
the show? Probably no more than a tsunami...
Cool
video of TOT opening... Jetting to Paris,
TDLFAN brings some cool
video from the opening of the Tower of Terror. With amazing
digital projection, lighting effects, and pyrotechnics,
this is not to be missed, so drop in!

[Question]
- What next? Always looking ahead,
Nathan Detroit wonders
what will be next for DLRP. Several MiceChatters weigh
in and bring some actual Disney Company release info into
the mix! Check it out and add your thoughts...
Favourite
toilets at DLRP? In any country, the call of nature remains the same. A call
that knows no language or borders. Truly a small world,
after all... So, when in DLP and the need for the smallest
of rooms is needed, Pussnboots wants to
know which ones win the popularity poll. Even though, when
you get right down to it, the closer - the better!
[News]
- IASW clock parade video In exotic Hong Kong, the news is all about the new Small
World opening! Here, MiceChatter Hkdlfan
shares some video he found of the figures marching in the
clock parade. Looking something like IASW fused with Precious
Moments, this video provides a glimpse of what lies within...
HK
Small World Video (merged) And the videos from inside the new Small World are making
their way into the big world (of the internet). Malin
shares a couple and there are more within. You can start
to see some storied Disney characters insinuating themselves
into the Small World mix (creating such a stir out here
in CA). See how many you can spot! And then count the number
of MiceChat coronary occlusions that occur on on the Boards!
Keep a pencil handy...

Now that winter is seeming to move more and more into our
past and the weather is warming up people seem to be traveling
about the country a bit more. Lets see what our fellow
MiceChatters
have for us to peruse this week! ~elly
LAGOON:
Photo-Heavy TR of Utah's Lone Amusement Park
I can't possibly be the only person on MiceChat that had
no clue that Utah had an amusement park can I? 2DieFR
took a trip to Lagoon and shares his photo filled trip report
with us.
Pinball
Hall Of Fame Continuing with the theme of things I had no clue existed
until this week, PinBrian takes us on a
photo tour of the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Since I already live in a casino town I could seriously
see myself spending more money here than on The Strip.

Mark
Shapiro Says Six Flags Can Be Like Disney Six Flags CEO Mark Shapiro commented last week to the National
Association of Broadcasters that he wants Six Flags to be
'less focused on Roller Coasters and Rides on Cement and more
about thematic character and story elements similar to Disney's
theme parks'. Although Six Flags can never be Disney, this
can't help but be a start in the right direction. In the just
over 2 years since Shapiro has taken the reigns of Six Flags,
the improvements in the parks have been coming and are now
more evident in his second full season as CEO.

'True-Life Adventures'? Disney to Produce New Films Under
'Disneynature' Banner In an ambitious move that harkens back to the days of 'True-Life
Adventures,' The Walt Disney Studios announced this week the

of the 'Planet Earth' series seen last year on the BBC and
The Discovery Channel. Narrated by James Earl Jones, 'Earth'
is scheduled to premiere in theaters on April 22, 2009 (Earth
Day).

Actors Guild: The Sequel Just when the fall-out from the Writers strike was subsiding,
word now that the much feared Actor's strike may actually
happen. Contrary to popular belief, the strike would not benefit
the Clooneys, DeNiros and Streeps of the world, but the other
99% of SAG members who's names you don't know. Let's hope for a quick resolution this time.
