Q. OK they have just raised the ticket prices for both parks here in Anaheim, and the quality of California Adventure is on the rise. Are they going to give the DCA park schedule a bump to 8 to 12 just like Disneyland? I think prices are a little steep for fewer hours of operation. - Brian
A. My educated guess is that we'll probably see a longer DCA operating day on a regular basis once Cars Land opens. They are still adding to the mix of attractions and entertainment, along with dining and shopping venues that when properly balanced help keep visitors busy and spending into the night. - Al

First time at other parks besides Anaheim's...my musings.

DVD sales are declining and the LA Times predicts that Disney Studios will lay off about 250 people. merlinjones brings up the question as to why 'Song of the South' is still in the vaults. With its potential to generate substantial revenues will Disney stick with political correctness or is it time for Uncle Remus to come to the rescue?

6/14: Disney World Ticket Increase, Dinosaur, Star Wars and Star Trek
Disney World ticket prices took another jump on Sunday. A one park, one day ticket is now a whopping $85 even though the parks really haven't added anything new this year. In this week's update, we review Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney, American Idol Scotty McCreery comes to Disney Hollywood Studio. We meet the stars of the Star Wars Saga. Halloween Horror Nights are already under construction at Universal Orlando and the Star Trek Exhibit comes to the Kennedy Space Center. It's another great update.
6/13: Dateline Disneyland - Disneyland Ticket Prices Take a Big Jump, Crowd Eating Mermaid, Sky School Progress
Visitors are flocking to the Disneyland Resort to experience a variety of new offerings both inside and outside the theme parks. Yet, guests wanting to see all of Disneyland's new attractions this year won't be getting them for cheap with significant new admission price increases across the board that went into effect Sunday.
