| Hi folks, it's Round-Up time here. We hope all enjoyed
a wonderful Father's Day weekend and got dear 'ol Dad that
wonderfully tacky tie he'd had his eye on for so long. Today
we have Mickey-shaped butter, Father's Day frivolity in
Disneyland
and video from Disney parks around the world. - Fishbulb

with the Fisheye camera!)

Could
this be a new People Mover concept?
In this interesting thread, Rob F grabs some screen shots from
the upcoming Pixar feature WallE pointing out a very familiar
icon that appears in the film. Could this be the a slight hint
of things to come?
Indiana
Jones: and the summer of pure torture..
TheLost fears that the rumor might be true.
Will the Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbiden Eye attraction
be down more than it is up during his visit? With two other
attractions already off the roster for his family visit he doesn't
think he can take another closure.

Paul Comstock's DAK Concept and New Job One of a couple of landscape genuises behind DAK, Paul Comstock
has moved on to other pastures. Found this piece of concept
art- his plan for the plantlife for Animal Kingdom. Sounds dull,
but its not!
What
to know before you go Part 1 This is part one of my weekly blog about what to know before
you go. Feel free to add anything else you can think of as
well.
Who
Remembers Mickey Shaped Butter? tjcjr writes:
We have been travelling to WDW for a good number
of years now during which time we had the opportunity to
enjoy many of the little "Park perks" that sadly
no longer exist. Many of these were items served in park
restaurants such as butter in the shape of a small Mickey
standing figure, the circular shaped Mickey face butter
discs, the specific park themed Kids cups that were made
of solid plastic and came with a solid plastic cover, just
to name a few.

recent trip. Great shots of parades, rides, and the beautiful
anniversary castle!
New
retrofuturistic topping stations at Videopolis
We all know they don't have Quarter Pounders in France, but
how do they top the burgers they do have? Well, Pussnboots shows
that, at Disneyland Paris, they have new (cool looking) cars
with ketchup and condiments on board! These really put flavor
into high gear...
The
latest photos of Adventureland's construction site
Mickey20d did a little sleuthing recently in
Hong Kong Disneyland and brings us a few pictures of heavy equipment
going to work. Speculation is running rampant on the intent
of the construction, so read on and join in!

Cedar
Point/Canada's Wonderland/Niagara Falls
MonkeyJoe begins his report from Cedar Point.
Are
you kidding me? Another Reason I Can't Stand Six Flags!!!
It seems that Six Flags has devised a new way to fleece the
flocking visitors. Required locker rentals while on rides seems
to be the new policy and CinderellaPrincess
uncovered what may be a very bad move on Six Flag's part.

Week in and week out, the columnists, bloggers, and web masters
of MiceAge, MiceChat, Yesterland, O-Meon, and our partner sites
bring you some of the best Disney content available. If you are
short on time, consider checking MiceChat's new front page once
or twice a week. We'll always update you on what's important.
Here are some of the top items from the past week:

Why

Al Lutz is back with his highly awaited column
on what is going on at the Disneyland Resort. Marketing missteps,
Monorail problems, entertainment updates, and what is going
on at DCA, and how the economic downturn is effecting the parks.

Monday
in the Parks
David "Darkbeer" Michael posts this
must read column every Monday. This week: The Dream House, Garden
Walk, Toy Story Mania, Indiana Jones, and lot's of tid bits
from around the parks.

Work, work, work. We all have to do it. Of course, if work's
not your thing -- yo ho, yo ho, hey! You could always resort to
piracy. After a hard day pillaging and plundering, you could use
the loot to decorate your themed backyard. Watch out for raccoons,
they are little thieves! The Main Lounge is the place to hang
to talk about all of this and more -- even the weather. Sometimes
people (very, very funny people) even talk about Disneyland in
the Main Lounge. ~disneyballerina
What
are your work day milestones?
Olympicnut, neurotic? Just because he has a
schedule in place, telling him when to finish his vitamin water?
Not neurotic! Keeping to the schedule helps to pass the time
at work. How do you do it?
