Q. I have a question for you, Cars 2 had a great opening weekend, but after having seen it my thoughts are that it won't have a long shelf life. Will that affect anything in California Adventure with Cars Land? – Rambler
A. It shouldn't. I'm guessing the new film is a mess because of the toy line; they couldn't make the depth of changes needed without orphaning already produced inventory. Cars Land on the other hand pretty much only references the first film, not only in its opening plans, but its future list of possible additions.
Speaking of such, one thing I would like to see is a shop devoted exclusively to die cast toys from the films. Either sponsored or run by Mattel it would be the one place collectors could go to complete their sets. – Al
