- my how time flies. We have wonderful picture reports
from Disneyland and rumors of Captain EO returning for a short
period of time. Also we see that Disney may have a formidable
foe in Orlando when Harry Potter land opens at Universal. Finally
we get the sad news that G-Force got the #1 spot at the box
office (where's Rhino when you need him). Oh well, enjoy the

Gardens Confirms Plans To Remove Big Bad Wolf from Williamsburg
The Deadman breaks the sad news that The Big
Bad Wolf coaster will apparently be no more after this coming
Labor Day weekend. If you get the opportunity to go, better
do it quick or it'll be too late to experience this suspended
coaster.

California to get Blue Horizons in 2010
He's been a busy guy this week! The Deadman
brings the news and Dustysage basically confirms this new show
coming to Sea World San Diego next year.
'G-Force'
#1 box office mission: accomplished
Despite lackluster reviews from both critics and viewers, Disney's
newest movie G-Force took first place at the box office this
weekend, barely beating Harry Potter. While some are saying
this is the end for Harry, the film still is ahead of
the last Harry Potter movie at this point in it's run and has yet to premiere in IMAX.

at Comic-Con 2009
Disney was highly represented this year at Comic-Con San Diego.
In addition to planned panels for movies such as Ponyo, A Christmas
Tale and Toy Story 3, fans were also treated to a guest appearance
by Johnny Depp and the premiere of a teaser Trailer for Tron
Legacy.

7/27: Dateline Disneyland - Golden Dreams gone for good, World of Color work, BBQ
prices, Kitson Kids, + more
Andy Castro checks in on the construction in Disney's
California Adventure including the complete removal of the Golden
Dreams Theater. In Disneyland, the Bank of Main Street is behind
tarps as it begins its conversion into the new Disney Gallery,
and Big Thunder Barbeque finally reduces prices after a overly
pricey launch. And finally, Downtown Disney has some new tenants.
