| Welcome to the August Round-Up
MiceChatters! This week brings around yet another dollop of Disney news
and discussions. Of note of course was that Disney hiked prices in California and Florida
as it was announced that the Paris resort will get a new E-Ticket based
on Ratatouille and Hong Kong will get the controversial Toy Story
Land as the first phase of three lands. -

EDITOR'S PICK

Three threads really stood out
to me this week. In a move that apparently ignores the worst financial
crisis this country has seen since the great depression, Disney
has decided to counteract a lack of customer spending by markedly
raising their prices.
Basic

Walt Disney World price increases as of August 3rd range from
$4 for a 1-day, 1-park ticket and $2 for adding a park-hopper
option to your ticket. Because of WDW's ticketing options, it's
best to check online to find the price and options that best
fit your trip.

Forget the BBQ!

Disneyland sticks it to guests with admission price
increases, and for the first time ever, charging for adding your
name to Mickey Ears. The Goat Trick has been reimagineed
in video form! And a video look at Disneyland back in the late
60s! ~ Aladdin

rankles!
Alien

LittleImagineer never got to experience the
old Alien Encounter but wants to know what it was like from
those who did. There are plenty of stories, opinions, and ideas

Hong
Kong - 'Toy Story Land' will come first
HongKongDisneyland reports that the newest

be better off in Sid's back yard?
Paris

Nathan Detroit wants to know the skinny on
MiceChatters' first opinions of the recently announced Ratatouille

Kong - Would the new HongKong-Zhuhai-Macau Mega Bridge bring
more visitors to HKDL?
HongKongDisneyland is back to proffer the opinion
that the proposed (and don't ask me to pronounce it) Mega Bridge
would bring Mega Crowds from Macau. The span itself is huge.
How huge? Take a look!
