Another week and another MiceChat Round-Up with a whirlwind of news and fun from the Disney parks and beyond! This week, we get a full rundown on haunted events, including Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland. We hear some wonderful news out of Florida regarding a lengthy refurbishment of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (finally!). Various MiceChatters have also reviewed Queen Mary's Dark Harbor and Knott's Scary Farm. But what's more, we have all sorts of news and discussions from the Disney universe, including a brand new MiceTube video blog called The cHATBOX, hosted by Matt with a focus on entertainment news. C'mon. Let's get going, there's a lot to see!

Are you following us?

Disneyland
We have two events remaining for California and Florida. There's the Empty Grave / Sinister Pointe meet at Anaheim Gardenwalk and then the spectacular Sip and Nibble event at the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot

MiceChat Nights of Horror is a series of Halloween haunt meets in September through late October. There are two Halloween events left to enjoy. The Empty Grave, Sinister Pointe & Universal Orlando.

The night begins at Anaheim Gardenwalk for dinner and then a walk through the Empty Grave. We then leave there ansd head over to Brea for multiple trips through the choose-your-own-path haunted house, Sinister Pointe. This is a meet-up event, no prior ticket purchases available, but MiceChat rates are being offered at each venue. MORE HERE
SIP and NIBBLE AROUND EPCOT'S WORLD SHOWCASE
Saturday October 22nd - EPCOT - Orlando, Florida

And if all those wonderful events above weren't enough, we are continuing our annual Sip and Nibble event at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival this year. We'll gather at the FESTIVAL WELCOME CENTER (located in Future World East) at 10:30 a.m. and take a leisurely stroll around World Showcase, sampling the food and wine offerings along the way. Each of us will have a lanyard with a marker attached so we can record our progress. Those who desire to partake of the adult beverages will also sport a small glass on a lanyard to conveniently share "sips" along the way. After all, with 30 stops in this year's Food and Wine festival, there is just no way you'd be able to finish a whole drink at every stop (or could you?).  Please vote in this poll to let us know if you are able to attend.

HalloweenTime is in full swing at the Disneyland Resort with the return of the popular Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy attractions. Yet, the big news this week wasn't the return of the annual holiday offerings, but the updated Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar in Disney California Adventure. The preview center's new exhibit focuses on the park's new Buena Vista Street main entrance plaza, which will take guests back to an idealized version of 1920s Los Angeles.
