The MiceChat Round-Up is the place to go for the latest in Disney and other theme park news and discussion. The week the question asked is: What's your favorite thing about Disneyland in the rain? The responses have been fascinating. You can also join in on the armchair imagineering discussion regarding a Tron:Legacy ride. Or if you are still haunted by the Halloween spirit you should read the epic trip report from SpaceJesus about his jaunt to Walt Disney World. But we're just getting started. Take a look at a still from the new Toy Story theatrical short: Small Fry, catch up on news of a HUGE Sea World Orlando expansion and screen the new cHATBOX video from Matt and a new MiceChatter video from Sarah both on MiceTube! It's all here, right now, and served up hot and fresh! ~ CakvalaSC

This is going to be an affordable chance to enjoy this resort along with all of the other things Oahu has to offer. This trip will take place June 23-30, 2012, and we have locked in PHENOMENAL deals on rooms of all sizes (even ocean view!). Come feel the ocean breeze with your MiceChat friends. Take tours, luau, snorkel and experience Hawaii as you never have before.

Gobble Gobble, everybody! It’s almost Turkey day around here, but don’t go looking for that at the parks – they think it’s Christmas time! Decorations are up and the DLR is all festive-looking. The rumor mill around here has been quiet lately, but we’ve got more than a few ideas to showcase this week. Enjoy! :) -Demigod-
Re-Imagineering the Disney Park
In an interesting twist to our usual Imagineering fare, Spirit King offers us a story about re-thinking how the Disneyland park might have come into being in this day and age instead of slowly evolving like it has the past 56 years.

Another week closer to Thanksgiving and the big holiday shopping season! I know I'm thankful for the Walt Disney World forums; where else can you talk about the bodies of water around WDW, trip reports, and everything in between. Let's take a look to see what's to read this week! ~yoyoflamingo
My Halloween weekend trip report
Join SpaceJesus on his Halloween trip report with a few new experiences for him, from flying on Virgin America (one of my favorites!) to staying at a Value resort!
Do people swim in the giant bodies of water? Flickering Bulb asks about all the water surrounding the resort: what do people do there? Read the rumors, stories, and even trip planning that is going on in this thread - These are the threads MiceChat is known for.
My first WDW [trip] coming up... PhantomBoy is excited about his first trip to Walt Disney World, and for Christmas and New Years no less! Share in his excitement and offer some suggestions to answer his questions.
11/15: Absolutely Disneyland
Kevin's latest book tells all - really! The Disneyland Almanac has more information in it than you can shake a stick at.
11/15: Epcot RFID Test, Holiday Lights, Universal and Busch Gardens Update
The holidays are in full swing at all the Orlando resorts; from Seuss Landing to Busch Gardens and all Disney points in between. We'll bring you shots of all the holiday decorations being installed. However, the holidays are not the only thing being rolled out in Orlando. Construction continues full speed ahead at the mini golf courses at Universal Studios, and the animal care center at Busch Gardens continues closer to completion. At Walt Disney World, a new ticket entry system is being tested at EPCOT, a name change to an eatery, and a new driving experience at Richard Petty, plus lots of little odds and ends.
11/14: Christmastime, Grand Circle Tours & E-Tickets to fun
Disneyland officially kicks off its extremely popular holiday season today with the return of popular attractions, shows and decorations in both parks. Also open now is an excellent new exhibit at the Disney Gallery celebrating history of Walt Disney's love of trains and the art of Disney's theme park trains. At Disney California Adventure, the park has introduced new holiday decorations along Paradise Pier and a holiday version of the Phineas and Ferb street show as construction on the major Buena Vista Street and Cars Land projects.
11/13: Disney World On Wheels
A couple of weeks ago, Laura shared a very personal struggle with whether or not to rent a wheelchair while on vacation to Disney World. After years of a steady decline physical abilities, she finally came to the realization that she needed to give a set of wheels a try or risk not being able to fully enjoy WDW any longer. In today's article, she shares her experience at Disney World on wheels.
11/12: Walt Disney World Christmas, Margaret Mitchell House, Scenic Florida and More
We all like to complain about Christmas "creep" - that phenomenon where the Halloween merchandise is replaced by Christmas merchandise in the retail stores earlier and earlier each year. The Weekend Update is no exception here – Denise Preskitt has photos and video of Christmas at Walt Disney World for you today. Too bad all that faux snow doesn't cool down the Florida temperatures.
11/11: Disneyland’s ToonTown Holiday Blues, Thanksgiving Options, Construction Updates
We have a holly jolly In the Parks for you this week with the latest in Disney and theme park news and discussions from Southern California. We are eager to see the progress of the holidays as more cheer and merriment sweeps into the Disneyland Resort before the official start of the season on Monday, November 14.
11/11: Erasing the Wonders of Life
Wonders of Life at Epcot closed forever on New Years Day 2007. The golden domed pavilion reopened in fall 2007 for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival as the Festival Center—with plenty of evidence of the pavilion’s former use. Now in its third year as the Festival Center, that evidence has finally been erased. Join Werner Weiss and Yesterland as we take a closer look.
11/10: A Closer Look At Universal Studios Hollywood
Last week, we brought you the first installment of the Samland Guide to Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) . He provided some basic information, what to expect when you arrive and how to buy tickets, as well as detail on the Studio Tour along with the rides on the Lower Lot. Today, He strolls through the Upper Lot. For most visitors, this is where you will spend most of your time at Universal. Join us as we take a look at the unique theme park built inside a working movie studio!
11/9: From The Mouth Of The Mouse – Behind The Scenes At The Jungle Cruise
Each week, we spotlight a different Cast Member story to give you more insight into some of your favorite attractions, resorts, and movies from all over the Walt Disney Company. This week's From the Mouth of the Mouse interviewee has a very special job. He takes guests to exotic lands and travels down the rivers of the world. And he does it every 20 minutes! That's right, John is the envy of us all, he's a Skipper on the World Famous Jungle Cruise!
