What
We're Excited About
The life of a Disney nerd is all about waiting. Waiting for the next
exciting show, attraction, or restaurant to open. We crave "New."
And the big exciting thing that we are currently waiting for (aside
from the debut of the new Fantasmic dragon at Disneyland) is the D23
EXPO September 10 through 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
The D23 Fan EXPO promises an unprecedented level of access to all
things Disney ever assembled in one place. And fans from all over
the world are planning their trips to Anaheim to experience the exhibits,
presentations, characters, and stories of the Expo first hand.
Guests can expect to find pavilions from every corner of The Walt
Disney Company. Each will offer unique, immersive experiences the
whole family can enjoy. The Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Parks
and Resorts, Disney Consumer Products, Walt Disney Imagineering, ABC,
Disney Channel and ESPN — to name a few — will all be
featured. There will be surprising gallery events, author and artist
appearances and signings and even a beautiful Disney Dream Home to
walk through. Disney stars will make appearances throughout the event,
including Disney CEO Bob Iger and Walt Disney Animation and Pixar
Animation Studios Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter.
The Expo is a 4 day event. Individuals can purchase one day tickets
or 4 day packages. D23 members get a discount on their order. Due
to limited 4 day ticket availability, we strongly recommend that you
buy your multi-day tickets now. We are discussing the info
on the D23 Expo along with how to purchase
tickets on MiceChat - HERE.

Al
Lutz: Dumbo and Dumber
Disneyland's Summer Nightastic has begun, but opening weekend was
definitely not a success. In this update we'll fill you in on why
the Resort wasn't as ready as they should have been for the huge
crowds, why the crowds are there in the first place for a rather
modest summer promotion, and why you'll likely hear the Nightastic
name for years to come.READ
